I have back to back meetings from 9:30am to 7pm with a luckily 1 hour gap to make lunch and multi tasking during meetings to get work done. After a few weeks of this I’m having Zoom fatigue.

How do I motivate myself to pay attention in meetings when my head just starts pounding?

IEP, 504, and those without internet will return in-person next week while rest of students remain remote. Regular Ed teachers may have students (mild Learning Disabled kiddos) in their room while teaching. They are saying it’s a liability issue if they have one student in the room with them, even though teaching other via Zoom. Thoughts? Anyone else experiencing this?

Came back to school in August with a cruise ship still sitting on my stage. We walked away from Anything Goes the day after the sitzprobe because of the quarantine. Still taking the wind out of my sails.

We are here now, but not able to stage shows. Logic says, "Do a radio show!" Just not sure I want to subject the kids to the emptiness of that performance style given the Zoom life they've been living. The production of it could be fun though.

I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. Should I have waited until one of the last slots so I was fresher on their mind when choosing a candidate? I am just sitting here stressing out until I here something. Also, do interviewers still appreciate a hand written thank you for the interview?

LinkedIn is a garbage app where I can’t even post my opinion or experience because it will go against the mainstream ideologies. If I even “like” a post then I worry that my peers and managers see what I like and suddenly I need inclusivity training. What a load of shit! Hi SpEd Teachers, is anyone else facing EXTREME staff shortages as a result of state funding? We are not able to meet my students' IEP requirements (not even close) due to not enough paraprofessionals and the district flat out refusing to hire more. I've lost 70+ hrs/week of para hours over the past few years and my students are really suffering. This leaves our district open to lawsuits, but the real problem is the state's education budget.
