I am working in TCS with total year of experience as 3.8 Yrs. I am having an offer of 14 + 1 LPA ( joining bonus ) from prod based company in Mumbai. I got selected in CTS. Can CTS provide me 20 LPA with this experience. ??

Need help,I am joining VMware Banglore on 27th June. During interview I told them I need wfh. They said it wil be wfh this entire year. Only mistake I did was i didn't permanent wfh. I took for granted like once I join i can opt for it ( as my VMware friends had said we can opt for it)
Now the offices have started, I am scared if they call me to office , I have 14months son, not willing to leave him n go for office.
So if I ask manager to give me permanent wfh will they agree ?

As Specialist 1 said..Nothing about lay-off will be mentioned in the relieving or exp letters. You serve your NP and keep appearing in the interviews. You can always say to recruiters that you are changing jobs because you're looking for growth, learning or role change etc.. I was also laid off from my last org and utilized NP period for interview prep.
@author , play the uno reverse card when they ask you which they will do when you have less tenure in the last org , just mention to the hr of the new company if they ask anything that you were literally forced to resign as your previous team in your previous company had horrible work culture and were not even releasing you from the project despite asking for release. Remember when if they write shit in the experience letter it hardly matters as everybody knows how toxic often Indian work culture is like often even great employees are fired bcoz he doesn't see eye to eye with the boss and instead of mentioning laid off the higher management out of grudge and retaliation put false low performance parameter on that guy to fire him . So yeah it's completely on you on how you can play your cards not that most companies refrain from writing anything in the experience letter mostly anyways
Same thing in talview they will not mention anything even thou my performance was good they had issue with the budget so nothing to worry about the experience letter they will give you as the standard format as required
Nothing is mentioned in the relieving letter. They issue just an experience letter. I was fired from Accenture (not after probation though). I got a normal experience letter mentioning my tenure of work and designation.

Never mind, I got PIP because I dare to ask for roll off and the leadership told that he will make sure if in accenture it has to be the same team or he will make me exit!! Indian work culture is a mess so, just move on.

I got PIP because I dare to inform my manager about the client abusive and arrogant behaviour.

I was forced to resign during covid. Nothing is mentioned in the relieving/Experience letter. Just tenure of your work. I didn't work for one year. But when I started giving interviews, I had multiple offers as I was an immediate joiner. Nobody goes in deep. Just say you're looking for better opportunities.
Actually it wont be mentioned in your papers but if you join companies with strong background check like most finservs part of background verification they will check with your hr or manager .. but no worries as far as your manger doesnt hold a deep grudge for life on you generally everyone will give good reviews only..
Dont worry about these stuffs its out of your hand now just keep hustling get multiple offers and then you can set terms 🙌🙌

I had resigned and Accenture made me work even in notice period. Stupid manager and team lead. Seriously work culture is a big mess.
Unless until they didnt extend your lwd out of np its fine .. since you are getting paid on notice period its perfectly fine to work during the same ..

Can you also plz tell me if in this case, where you're asked to leave after probation, and not resigned, are we still liable to return the joining bonus and other allowances we received that had a term of return in contract, if resigned within 1yr of service.

Ofcourse I was not gonna give single penny from my pocket. But they have my last month salary and paid leave money as well which they will give in FNF settlement, so they can hold the requireed amount.
But you're right. I am gonna speak to HR regarding this. This was also not mentioned anywhere in the offer letter about the case if you're asked to resign after probation.
Only im case of resignation, you have to return.

No company dares to write shit on experience or relieving letters as it can be challenged in the court of law. They don’t want to spend time and money to let others know you are bad or something. They would gain nothing out of this, so they don’t care
