I have done a couple deals in residential, and now have an opportunity to work at a commercial company as an associate. My base will be 40k for the first year plus commissions. I am still new to the industry and was looking for a position that would teach and expand my knowledge.

I will be leaving a full time gig that's 80k a year. If I am joining a team, what's a norm commission check I should expect / how many deals a year is the average?
