I have no experience in P3, but would love to pivot into these types of projects. I am considering investing in a CPFA program and getting a certification to help me pivot. I also have two years of experience in public sector consulting in the US. Is there something else I should do to make myself a more competitive applicant?

I am a self learned ux designer and working independently for my clients. Even though clients are happy with my work i feel they don't understand design much and i always feel there is a gap in my learning as there is no one to critique my work in design perspective. I’ve done PI work my entire career for over 10 years. I’ve worked in state and federal courts and I’ve traveled around the country doing MDL work and bellwether trials. I’ve had a lot of success making the idiots I’ve worked for wealthy, but I’m still waiting for a moment where I enjoy what I’m doing. I feel stuck working in dysfunctional plaintiff firms/cultures. I hate this profession/career more and more each year. Has anybody been successful breaking off on their own in recent years? Advice?

Are there many legitimate ethical hurdles when switching from insurance defense to plaintiff’s work? I’ve always seen myself as a plaintiff’s lawyer, but ultimately took an ID job out of law school (better salary, no real opportunities at plaintiffs firms that I liked). I like what I do—so far—but I’m constantly thinking about whether the grass is greener.

I think there's this myth that therapists have all their own sh*t figured out, and for me at least I know that's far from true (hopefully it isn't just me). On the contrary, I think we should be leading by example!

How do you deal with imposter syndrome? I'm a new therapist and I work with a bunch of women who have been doing this for ages. They're all really sweet, but I can't help feeling like I'm way out of my league. I mostly see younger clients which I guess works in my favor, but I just feel like I'm totally incompetent compared to the women I work with.

I graduated in May of 22. I transitioned from being an intern to being a full time counselor, now for 6 months. I feel like I might be catching my agency at a tough time, but as an employee it doesn’t seem to be trying anything to keep me here besides the occasional ‘motivational’ posts from the administrative team. I felt like I was lowballed during my offer, and my negotiation salary was denied since this is technically my first “professional” job. Pt 2 in comments:
