Questionable when the company is going against their minimum range set, especially with no reasoning given. If you need the job and can use the experience to get something else, I’d consider it like that. Also, if there are any other red flags to worry about.
Thank you so much for your advice. My husband had a similar response. I really do need a job since I am not employed. I am just a little disappointed about their response.
That's unfortunate, but it seems to be an indicator of the current job market. It's an employer's market, there are more people looking than there are open positions. So companies have lowered the offers they're making. If you need a job, you might as well take it, and see how it works out. You can always keep looking, after all.

Since you’re looking to get a job quick, I’d just go for it. While it is disappointing, it could get your foot back in the door and at least with the new title, you can leverage a higher salary for your next job.
