I have this junior who is constantly trying to insult me indirectly. I’m someone who believes in no hierarchy and encourages my juniors work as a team.
But he is trying to put me in really uncomfortable situations. For example, today I wanted to know something regarding our project, when I called him by name, I could hear him saying the person next to him, “let him call, let’s ignore “.
Only when I went near him and asked the question again, he responded. How would you handle this situation?

Is anyone else exhausted with their consulting staff thinking they’re gods? Being treated with disrespect constantly by them is so draining. How do you manage your responses to them that’s not a 30 second turnaround?
