I hope this is the right bowl to post this question... have candidates really transitioned with the job market to go hybrid? This is what a recruiter recently told me when I requested fully remote roles. Would like to get other opinions, like from Fishbowl! 😊
I work from home, my new manager wants me to start sending a detailed agenda of what I’ll be working on for the day, everyday. Is this a reasonable request from managers?
Hi All. Site engineer with an MSP and I need to get outta here. I love the work and learned a lot but the environment is draining and I’m getting burnt out quick. Looking for a fully remote or hybrid role. Ideally a junior system admin or something along those lines. Room to learn and grow.
Hey everyone, just sending a message out if anyone knows of any current opportunities based in London (remote/hybrid) for someone who wants to try something new, .. currently working as a relocation associate and it is not something i would like to continue to do.
Hey Fieshes ,

Anyone else in “I’ll do my job description and nothing more” mode? I’ve gone above and beyond for my company for a while, and all I got was my quarterly bonuses and remote work taken away without explanation. Owner says he wants more “team building” from his florida mansion (we’re in the northeast). Half the company remote, half the company in the office with 0 explanation why. You want us cracking new accounts? Banging out 100 calls a day? PAY US ACCORDINGLY. Don’t piss on us and call it rain
Any company offering 100% wfh...?
I work for a company with a pretty generous PTO policy and a mostly remote flex policy (4 days a month in office if within 75 miles of the building). One thing I’m wondering if there is a way to help us I get the “I’m taking a mental health day” call out regularly which causes a strain on the rest of the team because we were unable to prepare like we would with pre-planned PTO. Any ideas of things I can do as a manager to encourage pre-planned PTO instead of these call outs?
I have recently moved to Long Beach, CA and I am currently looking for a Recruiting Coordinator or Technical Recruiter role close by. I am also open to hybrid or remote jobs.
5 years of HR and Admin experience, masters in business and management and currently reading towards my SPHR. Also looking for someone well experienced in the field to serve as a career mentor.
Any advice, criticism or suggestions will be appreciated.
Is anyone still working fully remotely? My company says it isn't possible to have us working from home and we're not as productive when we're not in the office. This seems like corporate speak for we just want to stand over your shoulder to ensure you're working non-stop
Those of you who moved on from being a teacher and into the Ed Tech world, where did you find your jobs? I’ve taught science for 11 years and worked as camp director / program manager this summer. I’ve easily applied for over 50 remote jobs but never hear back from the various companies. Has the hype around teachers transitioning to Ed Tech been overblown? THX

If I’m currently a tech PM and want to be in tech in the future, would it be a bad idea to go into a different industry, like an ad or creative agency, for some time? Would it be harder to transition back to tech afterwards?

I’m a new AE at a start up that was founded in 2018. I just started last week. Our ICP is retail and e-commerce brands. (Those who typically have an OMS and ship products to their customers)
The product is essentially an AI chatbot that can handle many customer requests- without the need of a live agent. (Think 20% of tickets will be automatically resolved- saving a company tons of time and money)
Opinions on where y’all think retail / e-commerce brands will be in the next 1-2 years?
Is it just me or does anyone else know or have an inclination that their employer committed fraud after receiving PPP loans during COVID pandemic?
