I just interviewed at a company where they wanted me to be hybrid (1-2 days/week in the office), which I wasn’t against, until they told me that they were hiring at a salary 35% lower than what they said during the initial interview. Coupled with a 30% increase in cost of living (I would have to move), I had to say no.
I also have an interview with Amazon coming up and from what I understand they’re also looking to hire mostly hybrid roles, the qualifier for the team I’m interviewing with is ‘close enough to get to the office with one day’s notice.’
But, still seeing lots of remote jobs out there; and some companies willing to be open to remote for the right candidates.
Anyone knows if Morgan Stanley allows remote work? I am resident of Hyderabad but want to work for MS from here. I know MS doesn't have an office in Hyderabad. Can someone provide their thoughts who is on a similar line.? Morgan Stanley
I recently started a new role remote, but I do fly back to HQ to work in the office around 3 days a month so I guess that’s semi hybrid
Yeah I think there are still jobs out there that are more so fully remote, maybe just keep looking.
