I interviewed last week for a Senior Consultant position at LTI Mindtree and successfully passed the L1 and L2 rounds. However, when I spoke with HR this morning, she informed me that the position has already been filled and that she received this information a bit late. She mentioned that they are now discussing the possibility of opening a new position for me. Is it possible this is true, or is HR just saying this to keep me hopeful?🥲

Is there any advantage to telling a company you are interested in working for in the future where you decided to accept an offer from? Or does it not matter? I accepted an offer a week ago with a great company (Company A) that for this season in my life seems like a great fit and only strengthens what I have to offer company B down the road. Company B just sent me a request for interview and I want to keep the door open with Company B but they were just very late in extending an interview.

Since graduating college in May 2019 I’ve worked at agencies. I know I want to be in house one day and was recently recruited for an in house position. Worth making the move or does it make sense to stay at an agency for a couple more years to have more in house options available to me?

I did a “meet the team” interview 2 weeks ago and now the hiring manager set up a call on Tuesday. Is it safe to assume that’s a call to extend an offer?
