Probably not this time. Although, the market is shaky at the moment, so they might just be holding back a bit to see where it goes.
I would email them anyway saying thank you for the interview and asking for the feedback/ next steps.
Yeah they might just be cautious at the moment, but I would keep interviewing until you hear back anything. Something is bound to shake out soon OP!
You can send a follow up at this point since it has been a week. If after another week, you don't hear anything it could be time to move on. Unless you really want it... then may be send one last follow up.
thank you
It might take a little while to hear back. If your goal is to find a new job or land another position, I would encourage you to keep applying even after you have accepted a job offer. You never know if they will cancel your accepted offer so it is better to be prepared.
I woldn't say 90% chance you didn't get it. Sometimes you just need to follow up if you don't hear back in a week. These places can sometimes take a bit to get back to you. I wouldn't panic yet.
Hmm. I think it's too early to conclude. Did you ask for an update? You can ask for the status of your employment. Don't worry too much.
No update yet, but I gave up and try other opportunities. THANKS
In my experience, if I don’t hear within a week or got a weak response from recruiter that “ We are reviewing other candidates at this time and will get back to you shortly” I know I didn’t get the job. This happened 3 times already. I hope it’s different for you though.
Not necessarily. I wouldn't mind waiting for another week. Something might have come up beyond their control. It might be best to send a follow-up email.
