There's nothing wrong with taking a job that's not ideal as long as it gets you inside an organization you'd like to work for. The main caveat is not to become complacent if you're hired and settle in and get pigeonholed. Getting in the door and being able to network internally is the general idea, if you can do that it's a good plan.

It can work, but only with a clear internal transfer path and active networking from day one. Without that, people do get siloed faster than they expect.
Don't even think of step into this company, your life will gets ruined, all managers are illiterates and never let you grow in this company. Take your time and Try in different field where you will see yourself in good position.
