To get a 4 there is a whole roundtable process and your impact is measured against your peers. It sounds like you just didn’t have enough performance differentiators/extras to get you above your peer ranking, and this year there may have been a harder push to hold a certain number of people to a 4. I’d ask for a sit down with your coach and RL to get more feedback on what was driving the 4. Usually a 4 goes on a PIP so they may already have a “plan” in place or in draft for what you will need to demonstrate, but even if they don’t, understanding what made you a 4 will be important. PwC has a no retaliation policy so if you really think it’s because of the feedback after talking with coach/RL you can def contact ethics and compliance but at that point I’d probs just look for a new job
You need to do a serious self assessment. You did not get a 4 for that one reason. You should review your snapshots carefully and any emails where you have received feedback.
Sorry what? You're criticizing your team leader in front of your client? Like even if your client likes you, your really should be selling the team to the client, not just yourself.
I only spoke to a partner about it, not the client. And afterwards, both me and her were kept on the client, but we were not allowed to contact each other directly
Oh she is not taking it out on you. It is highly unprofessional and critiqued to complain about your supervisor to higher management, unless of course, they are doing something unethical. If you are on my team and complain about your direct supervisor I would tell you to give upward feedback to her directly, and maybe act like a middle man for you two.
Most of the time staff have no idea if someone is a good manager though.
I think I missed something in the text as well - I was the first one to tell about my experiences but afterwards four other colleagues went to the partner with their stories on her lack of empathy and bad leadership style. I was told that it was a good thing I stood forward and that it wouldn’t affect me or my review but apparently it did, as the only reason I got for the 4 was that I hadn’t complied with her demands on the client (where she hasn’t spoken to either me nor the client for the past six months whilst still being the Engagement Manager)
I’m F as well; and the senior manager’s good friend (F/director) is also talking about me very negatively
You guys should reach out to E&C immediately.
