If the raise is big and you plan on staying at least another year, yes.
I am not sure it is a correct choice because most people say move, dont wait because they should have promoted you. Nothing guaranteed at CR for next year promotion😂

Yes but this is a LATERAL MOVE. So let’s say you’re a first year senior and you move to another firm for more money and that’s already at the higher end you could be stuck at the same salary before Manager. And that’s assuming you have your CPA. Many seniors don’t have their CPA and is most likely still trying but struggling to manage all and eventually not get it all.

Only if you switch LoS, if you want to stay in the same LoS switch to a B4 or boutique firm
It doesn’t look good on your resume to go from GT audit to RSM audit for instance
