I think it very much depends on your other work history. 6 months isn't long enough to settle into a role but if you're already seeing red flags, it's not worth it to stay around just to have some arbitrary tenure on your resume.
You could leave this role off your resume and continue applying.
Right. Seems like the market is bad enough that the gap is believable.

Just apply. In house hiring depts tend to be less sensitive to things like this than law firms, because it’s understood that you want out of private practice.
I stayed at my last firm 7 months before going in house. I started applying around 4-5 months in. I had tons of interviews, I was generally honest about why I was leaving (I had recently become a dad of twins and firm life was not compatible with being a present parent or good husband) and I had no issues going in house.
What do you mean by collaborative? I take that to mean you want a team around you. That is not a given in house, unless a big company with several lawyers, etc. Most in house positions can be quite isolating.
