I moved from academia to industry and suddenly people treat my work as more valuable. The science didn’t change, just the setting. It made me realize how much where you work affects how you’re judged. Did anyone else feel this after moving sectors?

I found Google and Facebook recruiters to be efficient and TikTok so-so, if not a little slow, but 6 days+ seems poor.
