2012 Sr Associate. Left my firm in February after being recruited by a partner I used to work for, and it turns out I’m not very happy. Beginning to think I structured a (freelance) project poorly. Deliverables are 3-5 T-shirt designs, which will *also* serve as part of foundation for their existing branding.
I’m working at my hourly rate, and delivered several concept sketches. Since they want to use these designs for multiple swag items beyond T-shirts, should I have included licensing fees per usage (mugs, etc), or just raised my hrly rate? Or just do flat rate per concept that details usage options?
