I need some advise. I am a relatively new adjuster. I have 7 years of experience in the insurance industry, a bachelors degree in Business and an AINS from the institutes. I currently work as a GL adjuster with a TPA. I have seen a high turnover rate on my team in my short time at this position. I received maybe 2 hours of formal training and the rest has been learn by fire, even with claims in litigation. It’s a nightmare. I can’t get 5 minutes of my managers time a day. Would you leave?

At what point does the value of a degree fall off? I'm in my early 30s, and have five years of experience, and work on a very theoretically interesting project. I have family members who are inside claims reps for a large company. The company sends out emails 4 times/day showing who is currently not available for calls. To everyone working in claims in the entire country! It’s been a minute since I worked in claims. And never for this particular company. But is this shaming the new way to manage WFH.? I’m having my annual review this week. Any advice on how to handle a) job offer b) review?

For a top Producer of 3 years, is it appropriate to now ask for a raise in my base pay? Base was 42,500 when I started, but now inflation + 2 children later the base pay barely gets me by. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!
