I have given interviews in JPMorgan Chase for developer role and got the offer which is gud but interviews were not as tough as one might have expected from a reputed firm like jpmc.
Had 1 tech,1 tech-Manager round , Hire view test which was quite easy and an hr round.

They said i am shortlisted for a project with german Client and i already had a client discussion with the germans earlier.
No managerial round with SD for me direct HR .

I was just offered a CUNY role. The title is Higher Education Assistant. According to Glassdoor, the average annual pay for that role is $83,418. However, I was offered $62,500. I requested for the minimum annual salary to be 75k. Does anyone have experience navigating the CUNY system and their pay?

I would show them proof of your current base+ bonus + expected salary increase will be. Ask them if they can match or compete. If not, then ask yourself if the extra few thousand worth it in your price bracket with COL factored or if working where you want to apply yourself matters more.
If that's your situation, then it sounds like it's either negotiating a match/greater salary or walking from the negotiations.
Ask them what the budget is for the position and go from there
In my experience that usually doesn’t go over well, it just gets met with “we pay in accordance with experience and the pay band” and their bands are well over 6 figure gaps
“Im really hoping that this could be more of bilateral move for me. I’d really like to get as close as possible to a 170k base. Can we talk about getting closer to that number? “ if it’s in the budget, they’ll probably settle under that number but much closer.
Ask and see what they’re response is
Ask them to at match $185k
You don’t feel like that is too high of a counter offer? That’d mean I’d have to ask for a base of 168,000 (the annual bonus is 10%) to put me at 185.
