I have a total of 5.5 years of experience with current CTC as 11.5 lpa.
I have a offer from Infosys of 17 lpa
But my company wants to retain me and they are giving me an opportunity for Canada onsite in return of retention(no raise or bonus)
Please suggest me, if i should take the onsite opportunity or keep looking for counter on my current offer.
I have 70 days of Notice Period left.

All of this, and also bring in comps if you can. When I negotiate I bring in screencaps of similar open positions with the salary ranges. Robert Half is usually pretty inflated depending on the size of the company you work for, but solid examples help with negotiating. I would make it 80% about how you have gone above and beyond in your role, and 20% about the comp salaries. Good luck and you got this!
It’s best to ask for a raise in person or via a video call to show confidence and have a real conversation. You can send a short email first to request a meeting, briefly mentioning you want to discuss your growth and compensation, but it's better to do it in person.
You do it in person. And show up prepared to merchandize your performance wins from the last 6-12 months against established standards of your role.
