2 - I recently opened a fidelity account and have savings I want to invest and want to invest a small percentage every paycheck without worrying about trading it . What's the safest place to invest in and not worry about it for the next 10 years ? VOO? QQQ?

No
Thanks for reverting. Can I please know the reason why you think it's a 'No' ?
Yes
Thanks.
You will get your tax back. Consider it as an advance tax paid by you.
When you join your new organisation and declare the salary received and taxes paid in your previous organisation, it is taken into account.
So as per the final statement, you would have received a salary which will have numbers like (Credit - 1.4,L and Debit -2L).
Hence the taxes paid earlier will be taken as Advanced tax, which will surely be accounted for in the year end calculations.
Thanks
I had a same question but little modifications.
The lock-in period is 18 months. So if I leave at the end of 16 th month then what to do?
Do I need to return full 2 lakh or can I return only what I got in hand?
If I have to return full 2 lakh then what about the tax? How to take it back?
By then for that financial year's ITR will be done. And next year has been started. How I can take it back.
In your case you can. But in my case I think I can't. This will be a huge loss for me.
