I recently accepted a job out of desperation after searching for a long time. It's in-house at a brand as a mid-senior level creative which I am overqualified for (there is no CD position currently). I made it clear that I my goal is to move into a CD level role and was told that would be a possibility. Should I offer to initiate CD level projects where I see the need or opportunity? Could doing that make them unmotivated to promote me since they're getting that work for less?

Can we all agree that the wardrobe department for the new (and original) “Coming To America” slay it? I wish wardrobe on production could be as killer as them.

I work for a small firm (about 20 attorneys) and make 90k. I’m coming up for a raise discussion in a couple of months but don’t know how to go about it/what is reasonable to ask for. I bill about 35 hrs/week at 400/hr, so I think I deserve a bump, especially considering the posture of the market. Any advice/feedback from similarly situated associates or partners at similarly sized firms?

Offer included temporary housing and moving expense reimbursement…it’s been a month since I began working and 2 months since I started moving but still no reimbursement…should I escalate this? How long is too long?

During my interview process I clearly stated my salary expectations of 95k-105k. They came back with an offer at 80k. What companies take their in-house brand and marketing teams most seriously? And by that, I mean C-Suite respecting their leadership and placing high expectations on them.

I just finished what I thought was the final round of interviews for a job that I really want. Everything has been going extremely well. The recruiter just called to tell me that they want me to do one more round, though. This will make 8 interviews total, including a full case study presentation to 4 people. Should I be worried? Is this a red flag?
