I recently moved as a manager to EY Canada from EY US with 7 years of experience in supply chain, life sciences, industry 4.0 and manufacturing. Looking to transition to industry. I would love to transition into supply chain software/product but open to any opportunity. Any advice on what kind of job openings to pursue in Toronto that would be a great fit based on my experience?

Is our industry as competitive as some say? I see a lot of people saying this and I work with a bunch of hacks (myself included). It felt like a little while ago agencies were begging to hire new talent, and most couldn’t find new people. Is it really that hard to get a job at an agency? Maybe I’m just out of touch being in this career for so long.

Hi! I have worked in management roles in tech, mainly in analytics, for approximately 10 years. My TC has fluctuated (currently around 135K CAD), but it seems like it's relatively easy to breach the 100K bar, but hard to breach the 150K bar. I now work at the CBC, but I have worked in the private sector too. What is the most realistic way to move to 200K? 1) Continue moving the ladder to a VP position, 2) Switch to Pre-Sale, 3) Switch to Consulting, 4) Work from a U.S. company from Canada.

People at my company claim to be supportive, promote great work culture but there’s actually no support at all just bunch of bs. Curious to know what you've seen as working to non working dollars split in Canadian agencies. Reference any specific brands (or categories) if you can.
