I resigned from my job this week and told the hiring manager that I’m ready to serve a month’s notice, which was mentioned in my contract. The hiring manager has put out a high-priority job posting on LinkedIn to hire my replacement. I was really hoping to get a month’s salary by serving the entire notice. Is it possible that they can let me go early if they find my replacement sooner?

I received a job offer from company A and am currently negotiating salary. I have an interview with company B next week and know that they offer a higher base pay. There’s no guarantee that I will be offered a job at company B but my gut is telling me that company B would be a better fit for me. With product design questions, I struggle to identify user groups. Once I do everything starts flowing and I’m confident. But the initial identification of user groups is something I find challenging. What’s your go-to way of doing this? For example, the question “design a podcasting app for truck drivers.” What types of truck drivers can I select so that I can prioritize a user group to focus on and begin identification of pain points and solutions?

Most “certifications” I’ve seen seem a bit superficial… but my current PM job feels like a glorified project manager role so I was hoping to use my extra time to study/earn a certificate to show my skill. If possible.
