A BCG recruiter ghosted me after she reached out to schedule an interview. How long should I wait before following up? What is the common courtesy to give to ppl at BCG. I don’t wanna come off as too aggressive but I really need to get this interview set as there are other pending confirmations Boston Consulting Group

To leave as a partner with stellar exits, you’ll need to be a deep expert and have some luck - so that’s like 10+ years in as partner usually for C level exits
In that same time, you can develop operating track record in industry and have other opportunities that are great too. Much harder to switch from Consulting to industry at higher levels without operating experience

Kind of surprised that McK EM getting $180k base…but 2 nonetheless! Congrats!
Yeah it’s like big4 money for 50% more hours I know they pay their people a lot as they get more senior so maybe you just gotta pay your dues.
I think people in the first role would try to exit to the second, honestly
100% 2. If you turn it down can you refer me to the job pls
Director at $235K is a very good base number, at the higher end of the range. Make sure you clearly understand progression paths, timeline and evaluation criteria.
Yeah this is an important point. At mck you will see a ton of upside $
I’m a M at McK. Take 1 and refer me to 2 😂😂

For me, 2 for sure

Honestly 2. The level you’ll be at will bode well for you, plus the comp is nice. WLB plus comp, and level are overall better IMO.
The only reason to do 1 is if you want to pivot to something else. EMs usually exit to D roles. It is very difficult for APs to exit to VP roles because you don't have experience with a P&L or managing 15+ people. So as someone else said the next easy place to exit is once you've made partner (which you might not).
The only value I see for your money is if you want to pivot to another role within finance or even out of finance.
I recently saw a McK AP exit to a global pharma company as a VP.
The director title is outstanding. Like everyone else said, 2!

Y’all wildin…I for sure go with 1!!!
Totally kidding, sending another vote for 2.
Congratulations! What great offers? How many YOE do you have?
Thanks! 10, though it hasn’t all been at Accenture
Option 2, friend, go enjoy your life
I'm not saying you should jump immediately, but...
Are those coloured contact lenses?
Congrats on both offers. My vote is for 2 as well. You can always boomerang back to consulting. Chances are you'll enjoy the wlb, be happy with comp and time for hobbies / family and never think about consulting again.

If you were planning on not staying consulting your whole life then just take MasterCard
Listen to the McKinsey people here. They’ll know best!
Give me that base
Just here to say congrats!🎉
2 without a question.
