I think it's interesting that the workers are striking over the idea that the government might want to take a deeper look into whether or not there are bikies in the workers' union. Do you think the administration is right to take a look? Or is this an attack on unions? I can't say I'm totally sold either way.

I currently work at a large research institution and am in the process of getting retroactively reclassified to a new title (Long story but my PI is cheap and routinely pays ppl the bare minimum so now the Union is helping me w/ a retro reclass.) Reclass can take 2 - 6 months to process. Meanwhile, I am interviewing for industry job. If I get an industry job, what do I do if my reclass isn’t processed yet? I want the title and the money owed which may be about $15000- 20000.
