I think it's ridiculous that this is still a focus of our federal government when we have multiple storms, a potential escalation of foreign conflicts, and one million other issues plaguing our country that are more serious. I feel like this just makes our government look like we can't prioritize.

hey, I joined Deloitte in June 2020 as an GPS SA analyst, I just staffed on internal project only providing me adjusted utilization. Now my standard util is 40 and my adjusted is 105... and this project last in another month... by then my standard util might be 20.. will my promotion be affected by this? My target promotion year on TOD is 2022. My manager said we might sell to client and extend this project in September but nothing guaranteed.

How competitive are promotions at Deloitte GPS?

Do Leidos, SAIC, and other mostly-fed consulting businesses pay bonuses to all levels? If so, what does a typical bonus target look like? Booz Allen does not pay bonuses until you get to the Senior Associate level (1 step below Director) and I think that impacts employee performance and work ethic pretty dramatically. I’m wondering if not paying bonuses is common to federal contracting because of how the contracts or priced, or if this is something unique to Booz Allen.

Is commute from herndon(near frying pan road) to ft Belvoir or mead or crystal city or DC really bad? I have some offers but from Google maps it says up to 50 mins one way... not sure if it's too much... but the pay is decent
