I thought I was prepared...but I wasn't. I did some research, made a basic plan, and jumped in headfirst. Now my business is in shambles, and I regret not being more thorough in the beginning. Lesson learned the hard way. How do you bounce back?

Revenue solves all problems, always. Focus on revenue and products to your current customers and run and do anything you can to get new business. Focus on it in every conversation - not sure how big your company is but culture has to change too. It won’t be easy but if you can do it, it’ll be worth it. Even if you shed the people who didn’t want to focus on revenue with you.

Good luck.

How do you come up with your labs to make sure they are aligned with the unit.? I feel like I am doing well on EOC scores but I feel like my class is a drag because we just drill concepts and the labs are not making the connections I’d like between the lesson and the activity. It becomes them just following my instruction and not much scientific processing or troubleshooting to come up with the conclusion. I want to make scientist not just students that pass the EOC.

How do you best support your students who do not speak English? I have four ELL’s in my 6th grade ELA class and they don’t receive push-in or pull-out Bilingual support during my class. Do you pull them for small group to provide instruction separately or do you just try to use google translate to translate your lessons and the work? Any best practices? I’d love some help.

I got an email last night from a 7th-grade parent because her son said I mentioned the words "male privilege" in class, and she is very concerned about how that is related to ELA (she said "reading"), and she is concerned about this being taught in public schools. To be clear, I didn't do a lesson on this subject but we did discuss rights versus privileges. I've had multiple parents contact the school/get upset with me because of things like his. It's exhausting... Thoughts?

I'm working on a pitch deck, for an event that I'm planning next year for my wine brand called OBA, but I'm struggling to come up with sponsorship ideas.
