I had a HR Discussion after clearing 2 HCL rounds and 2 client interviews . HR is not considering moving above 40% hike no matter whatever I say to justify, the Discussion was like talking to a wall . Any suggestions to get another 10-15% more (first offer)? Will HR reject me stating this reason in HCL ?? FYI- Client and the project team wants to take him in as per their feedback to me and I feel i am the right person for the role too .. 9 years exp -Infra storage domain .

Hi everyone, I recently accepted an offer at McKinsey (college hire BA). Can anyone tell me what the typical pay progression is? 2nd and 3rd year BAs, then first year EM? If I have a Master’s, would it be worth it to go get an MBA once I’m eligible? Do you think not having one will hinder me as I progress/if I decide to exit to industry? What is the salary band for that level.. hr told they can't offer me more that 15 for this job level 5D... Please let me know what is the salary package for this level and is this the right level... Is it still a good time to change the job? I have two doubts in mind:
1. If i resign now then notice period will be from oct to dec. And last month of notice period where candidate receives most calls will be dec and i believe thats coldest month of hiring?
2. In current organisation annual pay cycle is from april to march where we can consider 8% hike plus 8% annual bonus is due in march. So getting a 40% hike and leaving current job is worth it?
