Jobs as a veterinary technician have many nuances, that is to say, you have everything, everything. So don't worry about getting bored you will always learn something new.
I don't think it will be more boring than being a veterinary receptionist, that's for sure.
I've been a vet assistant for 3 years and I'm still learning new things, what do I mean? you will not get bored I assure you
As a veterinary assistant there are many things that you must learn, it is not a short path, so for at least the first 5 years you will be in constant learning, I recommend that you take that step and become an assistant.
I think the option is clear, going from being a veterinary receptionist to being a veterinary assistant is the best thing you can do unless you don't want to continue working with animals, I assure you that it will be an excellent choice, if you have the opportunity, don't miss it.
If in the place you work you have the possibility of growing, do not hesitate to do so, take advantage of the opportunity and open up your range of possibilities.
As a receptionist, I can't imagine it's different than anywhere else. They are usually high-traffic so you'll always be busy.
