HELP! Company wants me to move to the US for a Remote role - Is this reasonable? Hi, I'm moving through the stages for a Remote US role as a Canadian candidate. They mentioned if I were to be offered, expectation is I'd move to the US. I find this odd as the role is Remote but guess it's legal purposes. Good thing is, this comp also has a Canandian office BUT they said bringing me on through the Canadian office is not smth they do.

I recently interviewed with Natwest and I got confirmation that they wanted to offer a role. Salary negotiations were started. However, now I got an email from the hiring manager that hiring for my role has been paused due to the ongoing cost of living crisis. Does it matter if I don’t meet the specific job requirements when transferring H1B? The job posted requires CPA license but I haven’t got it. The employer is still willing to hire me. I know for PERM process, meeting minimum requirements is important but not sure if H1B have such requirement. I heard that for H1B as long as it’s a position requiring bachelors degree and specifically occupation that should be fine. But kinda worried about this.
