Anyone familiar with the areas of McKinsey that do work on nonprofit/refugee work? What qualifications are needed? I’ve done pro bono related work at Deloitte, not sure how to do that full time.

As important as you might seem it’s more important to realize we are all easily replaceable. We aren’t surgeons dropping out of a surgery scrambling to find someone else. We work in white collar jobs that for 99.99% of us has no impact of life and death.
Do whatever makes the most sense for you and your family. Your project and firm will be just fine regardless of the decision you make.
Great answer. Thanks
Sounds like a good offer! Perhaps consider if it’s worth finishing up your current project and ask to align on start date expectations
Sounds like a great opportunity. Vet it wisely and make a decision based on the quality of life you want.
Go for it. You can always boomerang back later. In this current job market, compensation increase is very stagnant if not minimal. Do what is the best for you. Your current firm can always find others to fill your shoe.
Be kind to yourself. Accept the promotion and raise and WFH aspect of the role.
The end game is either this or Partner (which you’ll be traveling multiple places a week). You choose.

Congrats!
Great role to come back into consulting later should you choose to. Too many consultants don’t have any in house experience. I say go for it.
If you can’t figure that one out on your own, stay here.
Take the leap!
Sounds like an easy decision- too easy in fact.
take it!!!
Seems like a no brainer. And, given it’s not a competitor just leave on good terms, do what you can in transition, etc. an you have the opportunity to come back if the roles doesn’t turn out to be what you expected
