I work for a small company. I report to the CEO'S right-hand man. He is extremely difficult, with limited experience in my areas of expertise. When I push back, he is extremely insulting, lying that all leadership has an issue with me, telling me I communicate poorly and the best one, I am emotional which he doesn't say to his male managers. I feel like I have no recourse because he will just say he never said these things. Any advice?

3rd week on the job, a guy 2 levels below me came into my office and started the conversation with "let me lend you a piece of advice...". As expected, it was not useful advice, he was just a douche.

I’m my partners only associate and I went on parental leave two weeks ago. I feel horrible for leaving him to handle our cases alone, but am trying to focus on my wife and new baby. So, recently got put on a PIP after six months at my new job., two days after I told my boss and HR I recently learned I have a cognitive disability caused by an illness. The PIP was mostly because I forgot some deadlines, but also they said I need to be more professional in emails (even though others use zero punctuation and a lot of emojis. To clients.) and simultaneously ask more questions and ask fewer questions. Should I just assume this is unattainable and look for a new job again?

I feel left out in my firm. How do I make 'friends' with my colleagues? I've been here for a year. I am naturally not a very out going person, was never 'cool' and I struggle to speak in group situations / make engaging conversation with higher ups. It is an important trait to have in this job and I just don't know how to do this. It makes me very upset - I even sought therapy but wasn't useful.
