I work in cyber in federal consulting and work about 20-30 hours a week(sometimes less) and make 160k. I’ve been coasting (good consistent reviews, promoted in the last 4 years). I am being recruited for a Cyber position at Blackstone for 240k where 50-60h is the norm. Would you switch or stay? Thinking I might go for a year and then boomerang back.

Just received an offer with expected / standard salary for role but no signing or relocation bonus. They know I don’t have any other offers which is why I assume they didn’t offer any signing bonus - do I have any chance of getting one without “leverage”?

Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with discrimination as an Asian in the workplace? In my company it seems like it’s a white boys club where and they just promote white ppl because they’re white. And then they have a lower bar for promotions for minorities (traditional minorities likes Hispanics and African Americans). Meanwhile they make Asians do all the work. I am not generalizing that this is how it is everywhere but it definitely is that way in my workplace. Any advice?
