I worked two years and left HSBC. whole cybersecurity is controlled by one big guy and all the managers reporting to him are terrified even to speak infront of him. Though WFO policy is only two days, he makes employees come four days a week. There is nithing in writing like a mail or a policy but we are forced to come to office. The hike is peanuts here, very micromanagement, worst than a service based company Learning wise it's good, but not worth when salary is too low.

I am considering an offer for an AE role (UK-LDN) where the base is £42k & OTE is £70k. The Regional GM has verbally promised to move it up to £50k base if I perform well during the probationary period, but I can’t have it in writing on the contract. This role is exciting as I’d be the first UK employee, doing the full sales cycle & more but I had the same base and ote as an SDR. Is it too low? Do I take it?
