I’ve worked at AT&T as a sales consultant for 6 years and 8 months where we prospect, uncover, and close on leads. I’ve used Salesforce for the past 4 years during my tenure. I’ve done B2B sales where I’ve received awards for it for 2 years consecutively. Loads of troubleshooting, uncovering needs through consultative styled selling, and tech app subscriptions.
I was wondering if I have the necessary skills to transition into a tech sales role. If so, what would be the best role/fit for me?Amazon Salesforce Google @

It could be a year or more before that baby arrives. Don’t stress, lean into the new job and focus on what you can control.
I was promoted 2 months after a miscarriage (that my boss knew about), and I was promoted 1 month prior to giving birth.
Your body doesn’t wait to be in the perfect place at the perfect time. It looks normal to be pregnant wherever, whenever. You need to be unapologetic as a woman in the corporate world.
If your manager fought that hard, they believe in you and think you are worthy of the promotion. Getting pregnant should not change any of that. Just keep carrying on and good luck with baby #2!
I was promoted 3 months before giving birth, about 11 months after I started at a brand new company. Don’t overthink this - you earned the promotion and there was a business need, and you would be in the new role for almost a year at the earliest.
Men wouldn’t give this a second thought! Your career is 30-40 years long and there will be lots of changes that you navigate over the years. To me it’s more about how you navigate these changes and less about the exact timing of them.
