I just got a promotion that my manager really fought for, even with hiring freezes and budget cuts. I’m grateful, but my husband and I are also trying for baby #2. Part of me worries how it’ll look if I get pregnant soon after starting this new role.

I know family comes first and I shouldn’t overthink it, but I’m curious how others handled this or thoughts!!

Our company is considering offering 401K employer match. We are about 200 employees venture backed company. We have about 60% participation mostly the non HCEs and only some key employees contribute. We always pass top heavy test and wpassed the 2019 ADP/ACP test. We are aggressively hiring and project there will be increase in participation, particularly if we offer the match. Given this information would it make sense to continue with a traditional 401k plan or go with safe Harbor plan?

What to expect for AC>C promotion when you are already at the top of AC pay bracket?

I’ve been at my clerkship for 5 years (4 with a different judge) and one with my current judge, and I heard horrible things about him before starting, but I assumed they were exaggerated. Turns out they’re all true, and I’ve had to start therapy to deal with him and the incredibly toxic environment.
