Just ask. Shouldn't be a problem.
@D1 where to start? Buy a house, have a dog, meet nice people, enjoy decent sports teams, easy access to beach or mountains, save money, be able to go to the grocery store and come back with more than 2 bags of stuff, drive a nice car, buy a boat, not freeze your ass off, find good industry jobs for post-consulting life, pay $4 for a beer...and if you really miss NYC that much, a flight is available every hour of every day.
Try for a tour in the Cayman Islands if your firm lets you. We have a global program that lets you work outside the US for longer amounts of time
Charlotte has nyc flights on the hour. It's worth commuting. Less traffic and everything is central
As long as u have PPED support/project support it's fairly easy
Tons of flights from Charlotte to NYC and they are short. Airport is smaller and easier to get through than Atlanta. I've lived in both and they are great cities. Charlotte slightly more affordable but a few more amenities in Atlanta.
Moving should not be an issue but being in NYC has other benefits. Closer to the hub...
Ugh, why would you move to either of those from NYC...
