I am a career nanny who previously owned and operated her own nanny referral agency in Hawaii for five years...then Covid came along and wiped it right out of business since March 2020. I feel like my entire identity has been taken from me especially with Covid and vaccine mandates. I'm not looking to go 20 years backwards-I no longer want to be the nanny and work that hard however nothing interests me! I really don't want to go back to school and thousands of dollars in loans etc. etc.

What is a simple way to explain to my boyfriend that investing in equity with an expected return of 10% is better than paying off debt that is growing at a rate of 6%. He has student loans and is adamant that he wants to pay all of them off immediately before saving any retirement money. I understand that many individuals use this strategy but I think investing in index funds for the long haul is better from a wealth accumulation perspective, without even factoring in tax implications of 401k

I have got an offer from Accenture for Level8. I was 60% matching for the profile and got selected through saying there no project currently for this role, we are taking in advance. I doubt if they would send me out after project allocation done saying profile not matching. Want to know is there job security in Accenture provided I can learn and upskill the remaining 40% in 3 months time.

Hi folks, I recently applied for a new role in EMEA for a Specialist Solutions Architect. Got through n received an offer letter. But seems like the base is a bit lower than what i saw online in a couple of places (not sure of years of experience there though). Is it worth it to bring it up and ask the HM to raise an exception? How much time will this take? Is it a risk? Already the entire process has dragged on cause of delays on recruitment's part etc. Any advice or insight would be helpful!
