If i got selected I am planning to move with my family.

Interested. 7 YOE in healthcare. Level Senior Associate
I can’t DM. How can I reach out to you?
Is an MBA required for the technology strategy SA role? I have 5 yoe in industry and now 1.5 yoe in Digital Transformation consulting for GT doing a lot of work in RPA, AI/ML, and Analytics. I am being fast tracked to M but that is still substantially less than what SAs appear to make at S&.
Don’t do it! Worst experience of my life. Former S& and could not be happier
My experience has been great.
Hey S&, this is what happens when you lay-off a bunch of associates and senior associates with under a year of tenure in 2016 because your partners couldn’t sell. No transition period was provided, no outplacement services were offered, these staff were not even connected with alum in industry who could offer a soft landing spot. And you expect to compete with MBB or even other T2 firms? This is table stakes.
Or when your legal team screws up H1B paperwork and you force certain staff members to essentially deport themselves to their home country for a year or face termination.
Or when you force seniors staffed 100% on projects to give up their weekends and holidays to work on 3+ proposals at the same time.
People talk and nobody wants to work for your company anymore.
Congrats on going 0 for 6 in accepted offers at my M7 Alma mater by the way. This year doesn’t look like your year either. Good luck with recruiting.
And BTW to Applicants:
*Don’t believe promises about bonuses*.
Tier 1 bonuses go to 1, maybe 2 people with deep relationships with partners, not new hires. People who either rose up the ranks, or those related to a C-Suite executive who the partners want to win business from.
Expect a Tier 3 bonus (12% for Senior Associates, 14% for Managers - or whatever it is), and factor that into your offer letter whenever you get it.
Let’s stop wasting time explaining to the ignorant folks who are not willing to get out of denial state.
Company is doing well and has sold out in certain verticals, despite a strong recruiting pipeline. Industry vertical alignment is preferred but all candidates with some consulting background could be considered. Base for SAs is between ~$170, M is $190. All in comp assumes max bonus payout.
I think H1B is possible, but unlikely, not sure.
Sorry to hear that M1. I’ve had a good experience so far.
M1 base is 189 M2 is 201, and tier 1 gets you over $300 at M2.
Strategy&...
Strategy&....
Strategy&... smokin the reefer
Mother of God.
S& is sold out because staff are miserable, overworked, and leaving for better opportunities. Has nothing to do with pipeline.
Interesting thanks for the info. There’s a ton of Boozers and a handful of managers / directors that have come over in the last 2 years from Strategy&.
The OP ghosted me in the DM so I'm gonna say the critiques here feel valid. Even if you felt it wasn't a great fit at least respond after you sent inquiry replies.
Hi OP. I haven’t heard back from you. I’m still interested. 7 years in healthcare experience
How many years of experience is needed for SA?
How many years?
I guess a few cycles of layoffs and reneging on MBA offers left the staffing pool dry?
Serious candidates, please PM us and we will guide you. I’m open to referring candidates as well for TMT Senior Associate and Manager positions
generalist or aligned to a specific industry/function?
Aligned to industry. FS, TMT is where the demand is
300K is for total comp right? Do you know what they are offering for base? Also anything specific driving the hiring surge?
We’ve been oversold in most practices for a while. We’ve added partners and are expanding the pyramid accordingly.
Are also increasing hiring on campus to fill in the Jr. ranks
What’s the typical YOE they look for, for non-MBA candidates? I’m a M in our supply chain practice that is horrifically underpaid... I wouldn’t be opposed to coming in a SA for the right pay bump.
Pay is good here. We don’t have a supply chain practice here but I think you should apply and tailor your resume to highlight your horizontal (cross industry) skill sets.
Does S& do any work in customer strategy, CX, etc.?
All of PwC is heavily focused on client experience btw. Not just us.
I think the most jr role we’re hiring for is SA, that’s typically an MBA hire or someone with a very strong track record. Two years is likely not enough time. We don’t promote even our best associates to SA in less than 2.5 years. It’s the only tenure-based rule we have.
Why is it that a Senior Associate at Strategy& can make 230k, which is equivalent to an M or even lower SM at Deloitte?
That seems like a no brainier to go switch.
First year post MBA
Base:168k
Bonus: 25k (up to 60k potential)
Sign-on: 30k
All-in: 223K
Not a deciding factor at all but just curious, what laptops are the consultants at S& given?
Can get a Dell or an HP, exactly which models depend on when you order. Apple are also available but not ideal in my view for the job we do.
Are they open to folks with H1B visa?
Yes. Confirmed.
Are they looking for people in supply chain and logistics?
No. We are aligned by industry verticals. Demand is in TMT and Financial Services
