Outside of wanting a better WLB, would be hard to leave when there is so much unknown around promotions in industry vs big 4 no? Almost a step down in comp if already at manager or up in FDD…

Does anyone have family members who constantly demand money because they feel like you’re rich now because you’re a lawyer? I’ve always wanted to be in a position to help my family but we all live in the high COL city so my salary doesn’t carry me as far as it would elsewhere. I’ve given a detailed summary of all of my expenses yet every month one family member in particular comes to me for rent money (not some, the full amount, and they refuse to get a job). It has become quite the burden.

Got an offer from b4 for a lateral move. The offer was only 7% more than my base with no sign on bonus. I told the recruiter I thought the base was a little low because we have salary raises and bonuses coming eff July and am on target for 10% raise and 10% bonus. What should my counter offer be?
I was thinking a 15% salary raise and a 7% sign on bonus would be fair?

I have till 1/11 before I have to repay a sign on bonus. Im starting the week of 1/18. Should i give 2 weeks notice next week or after the repayment date? If the latter, then that would only give 1 week notice. Please help!

I gave a salary range to a couple recruiters for digital consulting positions and am not sure if it was relatively close to market value or not. Would you think this (admittedly wide) range is high, low, or reasonable? Any advice is appreciated!

Some info:
- Both roles are for boutique digital consulting firms in Chicago
- Consultant 1 positions requiring 3-5 years experience
- My range: $100k-$120k base
- I have 4 yrs experience, 2 of which in a BA/Product owner role (non b4 accounting firm)

My current company is ready to retain for same CTC and few other offers in pipeline. TCS, Today I completely lost interest and trust. Post document verification and taking all employee details. HR initally offers salary with 95% hike.
As I was already holding backup offer135% and asked if they could match up the offer? HR dept wasted 2weeks(until my LWD) in getting approvals and despite many follow ups today I received mail,we couldn't proceed further as cannot meet expected salary. In call,HR proposes 30%hike as company policy. Why not tell it earlier? Is this fair? Why double standards?

How easy/difficult it is to change base location in SAP. I interviewed for a position where I have given preferred location as gurgaon but I was offered a position in Bangalore . It's a good role and i have really less experience so I didn't want to let go of the opportunity. I want to know how easy will it be to change location to Gurgaon as my husband and inlaws are really unhappy with the decision and might force me to lose this opportunity.

I would ask a question to said one in particular and instead of just answering me he would explain the scope of the project like I hadn’t been working on it for weeks etc. There wasn’t an exit interview or a warning I was just fired on the spot. Hi all, have been at PwC UK as an SA for four months, I have since been offered a role elsewhere at another firm. The notice period is set at 3 months (started my notice 3 weeks ago) - I’ve heard this is negotiable? I am currently on an internal project but my project lead keeps avoiding my emails regarding notice periods (refuses to accept I’m leaving) and I think 3 months is excessive given that I’ve only been on project for 8 weeks. Any way to force through leaving asap?
