The over time meal policy says the meal has to be consumed onsite I.e. At the client / office where you are presumably being forced to stay and work. So unfortunately, probably not.
Your paycheck is your perk.
The irony - policies like that are in place to allow you to get dinner when you work so late that you can't get home for food...
You don’t get a free meal to work from home OP. This policy is in place when you are traveling and cannot enjoy cost savings of a home cooked meal. Being st home defeats the entire argument. All our firms take good care of us though we sometimes tend to forget - please don’t take disadvantage of a policy.
At least you get to be home. I’d love to work the longer days in my pajamas. Don’t bill it, and don’t ask permission to bill anything — you will look super lame.
No free lunch (or dinner); you’ll get picked up on an audit two years later and then have to prove it or pay it all back.
Well, my house is the client site since I support a client out of state
I do it
^ please don't take advantage. Agreed.
Loop hole do it
Well I believe it also says engagement approval, and so could be worth asking the partner. Then when you submit the expense you can put their approval and gte doesn't know any better where you actually stuffed chipotle down your face
Trying to save $20? 🙄
Ask engagement manager for approval. Always exceptions and if there is budget why not...
Nope
I did it a few times cuz i didnt have time to cook anything cuz i was so busy
The perk is working from home.
