Any helpful tips for a Google TPM interview
Hi All,
After ED round of interview I got a mail from HR asking to submit few documents. In the mail HR has mentioned that I'm one of the shortlisted candidate and final selection is yet to be made. So how are my chances of getting an offer.
Is it something common that happens in JPMC.

Unfortunately this is the rule rather than the exception... I’ve just completed a 6 month job search and interviewed at 8 places... only two gave me the courtesy of a follow up... it told me a lot about the kind of companies they were
This is proof that everyone is just thinking about themselves, and that includes everyone at the agency where you interviewed. Theyre not thinking of your day.
Of course they should let you know either way, of course ghosting sucks, of course its just professional courtesy. But you cant really expect them to think about it in terms of your day.
Actually, you can expect them to consider your day. It’s called common courtesy and professionalism and compassion. Consideration for other human beings is the literal minimum I expect in a potential job.
Happened to me at AKQA
Same. 3 interviews. 2h30 each. Never called me again. Never answered to my mails. Last interview was « don’t worry it’s ok, we will hire you... »
Who
This happened to me just last Friday. Interviewer canceled the time of the interview. I was already waiting in the lobby for 5 minutes =/
The happened to me two times at an agency about ten years ago. First time I was on my way to the office and they canceled. Second tome, I was in the lobby. Then they called me six months later to see if I was still interested 🤦🏻♂️
I once was flown in and given hotel and per diem and then sat in the agency for 5 hrs before I want told there was some emergency creative meeting and no one was available and was told thank you and goodbye.
Did you sight see your ass off? Still, must’ve stung a bit and hard not to take that personally.
I started deleting recruiters on linkedin for that nonsense. I had one hitting me up this morning asking to talk. Forget that noise.
Don’t be soft, name names or recruiters
This stiff makes me so angry. How hard is it to send a follow-up email?! Thanks so much for taking the time to meet with us. We have decided to go in a different direction (or not ). We will keep you in mind in the future.
