Probability weighted, consulting pays more. Not many ppl at any given F100 making $1M+ like a consulting partner. Odds of reaching that in corporate are lower. Also would take more years to get there - timing is another factor to be considered

This. You go to industry for different reasons. It a lot more competitive to get bigger promos.
Pure TC, consulting is a strong field. It loses points for WLB, culture, and travel but if these aren’t as important to you stick in consulting

Current TC would be about the same - base is equal, RSU matches average bonus. Trying to figure out the 10 year horizon.

You should be looking to maximize long run hourly comp - industry is the way to go there. Very much comes down to the company itself since much of your comp will be in shares as you get more senior

Would answers change at all if the role is Corp dev? Hours might not be a lot better given M&A work, but potentially opens up investing roles in the future?
My answer would not. Investing roles typically occur right after school, generally the earlier the better to make that transition
