Does SAP SDC provide any mobile phone device?
I was interviewed at EY UK on 7th Sep. It was quite smooth. Since then I haven't heard anything back from them though interviewer claimed SLA to get back with outcome of interview is 48 hours. On portal it still says I'm in hiring team phase. It was level 1 interview.
Should I take this delay as rejection?

I’m a woman. I was in industry for 10 years but the glass ceiling is real and I can handle covert sexism better than the overt kind.
I can code but I also like consulting, so doing both with BCG Gamma.
I like leading teams.
I like working on different projects.
I hate SV culture - feel like a kid, not a professional... but I’m old-fashioned like that.
I don’t particularly like coding, despite being good at it.
I don’t chase money.
For 99% of people, I think SWE is the right move if they can do both.
Travel, pay at higher levels, client facing work, want to live outside of SF.
This my exact reason as a consultant SWE at McK
Because faang hasn’t given me an offer 😭
Wish I had left sooner for additional context but value my experience in consulting and will likely return to it one day.
Recruiter from Amazon contacted me and I was hired into a specific industry focused vertical.
Go to faang. I was a swe, came to consulting, now trying to leave. Consulting isn’t end game for me. It’s cool, but meh

I have a PhD, spent 6 years of my life coding and hated it. Consulting is far more fun.
All things equal, is it worth it for someone already at MBB (without much coding experience) to devote a real amount of time on developing that skill? Or is it more fruitful to pick one of the two tracks and really stick to it?
I spend my day bossing client SWEs around, and I'm not talented enough for FAANG
I did, and it was a good decision. Much happier as a SWE

Depends what you mean by code? As a non CS major I don't even know how much time and effort I'd need to put into learning to code to to whatever the standard SWE level is required.

And the mere thought of grinding leetcode to practice for interviews makes me 🤢
Long gap between being able to do data analytics with sql/python/r and being able to write production level code. Also dont have a CS background
What are actually reqs for SWE? I know how to code but not sure my skills are adequate. Hence in consulting currently and slowly gaining credibility as an analytics SMEs instead.
Because I can’t seem to get the recruiters to notice me
