Took me a bit to settle into my role post MBA also coming from audit into consulting, I’d say 4-6 months or so. Consulting is a much more vague and less structured job than audit so you’ll have to use more creative thinking skills. Don’t give up you’ll fit right in before you know it.

Yeah just pay attention to the edits people are making and why, many people it’s just personal preference but the big ones try to develop an understanding of why it was edited.
My first consulting EM told me, once you make a mistake, figure out why, and don’t make it again - that’s where you’ll find yourself progressing
Deliverables are vague for a reason, gives us flexibility.

It’ll be rocky for a bit, but sometime between 6 and 18 months you’ll start to feel really good at the role. Just try to keep learning and stay positive about your growth potential

Most people aren’t getting pushed out in 12 months, not even at MBB^. Typically there’s six months grace period with no review also.
Unless you’re performing so poorly and your managers are saying that to you, I wouldn’t stress about it. After 2 years if you don’t get it you may reconsider, but nothing will happen in 12 months likely

Fast iteration. Get feedback early and often, if it's wrong no one cares as long as there is time to change it (and you aren't taking 5 tries to get anything done, getting better with time, etc)
Just bull shit and say you got the information from experts in the field. If the client is asking you for info, than they don’t have any to call your bluff
