Check out the latest VC:20 podcast with Harry Stebbings. Just listened this morning, it’s insightful about the current state of VC industry from one VCs perspective
This is awesome! Thanks for the rec.
I like it, and I would recommend myself to get into it if I had it all to do over again. But what works for one won’t always be good for another. I would start with looking at your offer and how that compares to your current and also the change in work. It’s not always as interesting as some people think, but it has been to me.
Thanks for your answer! I took it :)
I think if your priority is making money, it's a great industry. If your priority is having good work-life balance, not so much. At least in my experience, I was able to get started pretty easily, making lots of money, but had several failed relationships because I was always working. So it just depends on what stage of life you're in
Thanks for your reply!
I would not recommend VC or even CVC if you're on the fence. I would recommend VC for a hard-headed entrepreneur who is a great partner long term and I would recommend CVC for someone with a chip on their shoulder about how corporations are inefficient.
Thanks for your input!
