Yes. Best decision ever. The military give you real people to work with. Everyone watch each others back, making it a family more then a job.
Yes and because it got me out of South Carolina and into college. My family does not care about me and is not going to help me build a future. That’s just the truth.
It's difficult to say. I appreciate the camaraderie and its given me a lot of purpose in life but it's taken a toll on my mental health and my family life, so I'm not sure I can answer this.
Yes, but I'd probably choose the coast guard over the navy. Definitely not gonna go back to the navy lol
Yes, I can't explain but it, they were family and gave me such a purpose in life. They had my back for everything. I miss it a lot.
I would only change the job selection and path
I am USMC Vet and an Active Navy SWCC ,
Two Services and three MOSs. And retiring at 20.5 yrs
I wish I had found my way to being a SWCC earlier in career, but I honestly didn’t know what I wanted.

The military is great. If you want it to be, it is what you make it.
Yes, I would still choose to enlist in the military. It was a great opportunity to serve my country and give back to communities in need. I also had the chance to learn valuable skills in leadership and teamwork that I can take with me for the rest of my life.
