Depends on your practice but NY, CLT, Dallas, DC, ATL all big hubs for FSO advisory. There are more I am sure.
Not always though, based out of Midwest, currently doing work in New York with a top investment bank
If you actually want some experience with global investment banks with trading then yes. You need to be in nyc
No you don't have to be. Send me your resume and I can put in a referral
@OP our practice has a robust pipeline and have multiple super days coming up
There's west coast and Midwest offices. NYC has biggest clients though. Used to be in FS
McLean/DC has a solid presence, certain GSEs need lots of help
Charlotte is there
DC and NYC definitely lead to less travel. DC is GSE work; NYC is banking
Thanks for the info M1. I was already referred and I'm currently talking to a recruiter. I'm glad to hear that there are multiple super days coming up. What's the process like once I decide on the position with the recruiter?
I am interested in the FSO Advisory as well. Do you need to have financial services experience? What kind of projects do you do? @ EY folks !
What practice are you guys interviewing with ? FSO Advisory is the broader umbrella for multiple practices/ pillars
People tell me I am wise beyond my years
Met a bunch based out of DC
Looking at IT Risk/GRC part of the IT&RA practice
If you're based out of nyc do you travel less or at all for clients? Looking to cut out travel
