This week, I got a strategy offer for a startup in NYC with a $125k base salary + equity that I’m excited about… I’m currently making wayyy more than that and want to negotiate… I’ve been aiming for $160-$170k TC and was prepared to lower a bit but not that much. Can anyone here offer me advice on how far that salary goes in NYC? Feels like a major pay cut with the extra taxes, high rent, and lower salary…

We are looking to hire a FTE for systems integration. We are using Mulesoft as an IPAAS. I’m part of the hiring team. The pay is 6 figures it is fully remote, the benefits are insanely good and it can be your second job if you are very good. If you are great, it’s probably 15-20 hours of work per weeks. Stupid Question- We have been thinking for IVF and trying to understand with this process, is there any difference in the health and life of the child as compared to a child born without IVF. I did ask this with our doctor and he said casually its all same. This is not to question any doctor but just to really understand what is going to be different with the kid.
