Now that you had that interview try and remember some of the questions they asked. Then search answers to those and other common interview questions. Write them
down and read the answers out loud and practice saying the answers. Print out the answers when you are having an online interview put them in the wall or somewhere you can glance at the answer to remind yourself what to say. Schedule as many interviews you can because it’s good practice. I sometimes interview now just to keep my interview skills up. After a while you can train yourself so that whatever question they ask you you can pull the answer form your top 3 answers and make it fit thier question. Kind of like a political person does when asked a question they answer the question with the answer that serves them the best no matter what the question. Soon you will be getting offers but this interviewing thing is a skill! Good luck!

This is a learning experience! I panicked during my interview for a critical care internship program. But for some reason the recruiter noticed the potential in me and told me about a med-surg job fair that was coming up. I practiced interviewing before the job fair, learning from the mistakes I made, and got my first nursing job. 15 years later I still remember the whole experience. Good luck!
As a general rule it's good to prepare enough so you won't draw a blank if asked something important. If you do get surprised by a question and have no ready answer, it may not be a total disaster. Sometimes it's important to show the interviewer how you think. If you get caught like that, think it through and explain how you would get to the answer, sometimes that's the best approach.
Practice practice practice, dear heart. They usually ask the same list of questions.
Tell me about yourself (I tell them my name, 29yrs experience, I’m a wife, mother, grandmother. My son is a supervisor at Lockheed Martin, Marietta x 16 years. I’ve owned my home x42 years. I don’t travel except once a year to go to Baker Creek fall festival in October for 1 week.
The purpose of the question is for you to divulge what legally they can’t ask. Your age, marital status, are you stable and a good risk to hire.
Tell me 3 things your current employer would say are your strengths.
Tell me one thing your current employer would say is a weakness. This one is tricky. I usually use the standard “they’d like me to write more people up, but I believe in conversations or verbal warnings before writing up a coworker.
It's ok. It's like anything, dust yourself off, and move on. The important thing is what you learned from the experience. Just remember, there is a technique called STAR- situation, task, action, result that will help you answer some of these things. Just think of a time when whatever they're asking happened in school or in clinical, and describe it. Research common interview questions and practice with a friend. You've got this!
Prepare answers now bc the questions will not differ much from interview to interview. How would you handle if a superior wanted you to do X or where do you see yourself in 5 years...you can go on YT and get some helpful tips that will leave you way more confident.
