Bain & Company Hi all, I am interested in making the move to the Middle East, however starting from august/September. What do you think are the prospects for the future in the region? Do you envisage a hiring freeze or are companies still going strong? Thanks!McKinsey & Company Boston Consulting Group Kearney Bain & Company

If you tell yourself that, you'll always be the night owl. You tacitly give yourself permission and then you see the early bird as counter to your nature.
Just start sleeping early and slowly adjust waking up earlier and earlier. Like Richie in The Bear.
Once the alarm goes off, drag yourself out of bed immediately and splash cold water or have a cold shower. If you linger after the alarm, you've lost. The one minute makes the difference.
Been there - you just gotta conform and work through the pain
This is soooo me. I am a night owl in the midst of a bunch of early birds. I don't operate like that so it's been hard to fall into the early morning routine others might be in. My boss is a true morning person so it's been weird. As long as he does not require too much of me in the a.m., we are good - lol.
Same. Ironically I functioned really well the first week of shoots on the west coast since I was operating on EST. ‘Well well well, look at me waking up at 6am.’
I used to be a night owl but this business has pushed me into getting started not unusually at 5:30am. Similar to other posters above, it’s all about getting up when the alarm goes off—no snooze alarm use-then get up and immediately get into the shower. It’s all easy after the shower.
Sometimes I like cutting out early knowing I’m going to do a 9-11pm deck rewrite. Just find balance and let people know you don’t take meetings before 10am unless it’s with a team in S. Korea.
