I am working since a year in my first job and I don't feel like I'm getting to learn much here or see any opportunities for growth. I am thinking about learning Salesforce development and applying for specific Salesforce jobs.
Either that or I will join another company as java developer.
Which of the two has better scope in the future, java development or Salesforce?

Recently promoted to L5 in Strategy & Ops at Google. Feels like a good time to take stock of my career. I don't think I want to pursue a longer career in StratOps, but would like to stay in Google for the foreseeable future. Leaving PwC to enter a firm’s data integration and migration practice as a supervisor. I have been bored of audit and wanted something new. My mentor at the firm will be training, but 2 questions.

1. How hard is it to start at fresh in the data field when you have no experience.
